A high quality of life requires that residents and businesses feel safe and secure in San Marcos. Those who live here have seen firsthand the remarkable work of our local fire department in fighting and preventing the fires that have become an annual concern.

In his time on the city council, Randy has been an advocate in support of the men and women who respond to local emergencies. Randy currently serves on the board of directors for the North County Dispatch Joint Powers Authority, the 911 center that is shared by most North County cities, and has heard many first-hand accounts of our first responders saving lives of residents in the region.

AS MAYOR, RANDY WILL:

Guarantee the San Marcos Fire Department has the tools it needs to continue its great work in an increasingly challenging environment, including the funds for superior staffing, equipment, and training.

Continue the city's partnership with the San Diego Sheriff’s Department and do our part to make sure law enforcement officers have the tools they need to keep peace, and prevent and solve local crime.
